We will be starting a tournament for the IronmenRB of the month.
We have two members in mind who we feel deserve the honor for very different reasons.. AF_Aunt for all of her hard work day in and day out making everything happen behind the scenes. And GreatWhitePoker (U_Tilting_now) for having two first place finishs and one second place finish in the IronmenRB Rumble in just three weeks..
We will be having them each choose a game they would like to invite the Clan to play, and we will be paying their buy-in. AF_Aunts in January, GreatWhitePokers in Febuary.
After that we will be choosing from nominations made by fellow Clan members. So please let us know when you see a member who deserves a little praise for something they have done on or off of the felt..
Starting next month this space will contain announcments and information sent in by you. Birthdays,Big events, Great Finish's anything you want to share with other Clan members. Submit announcements to TonyStarksDesk@live.com
Several of the other clans have started what they are calling 4x4 Crews.They are four member crews with one main objective , defend the honor of their Clan.They challenge each other to play for the pride and bragging rights that come with winning.
We believe we are every bit as good on the felt as any group out there. So we are going to be forming at least three 4x4Crews our selves. AF_Aunt will be the Captain of our first all female Crew, RamerTamer2 and Ironman will be Captains of a Crew each.If this catchs on and enough of you are interested we will be forming additional crews as requried .Any members interested in being included in one of these crews should PM Ironman so that we can add you to the list we will be drafting our Crews from.
We are going to be sponsoring a freeroll open house tourney sometime after the first of the year. You, the IronmenRB Members will all be encouraged to invite friends and relatives that you think might enjoy playing some poker with us, whether or not they are members of Railbirds.com.We are hoping to make some new friends and let them see how much fun they are missing out on.
